Virgin Pomegranate Margarita

This vibrant virgin pomegranate margarita is the perfect blend of tart, sweet, and sparkling. With fresh lime juice, pomegranate juice, and a touch of natural sweetener, it’s a zero-proof twist on a classic cocktail. Ingredients

  • 1 cup 100% pomegranate juice (fresh or bottled)

  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice

  • 23 tbsp agave syrup or honey (to taste)

  • ½ cup sparkling water (for topping)

  • Ice (crushed for frozen version, cubes for on the rocks)

  • Salt or sugar (for rimming, optional)

  • Optional garnishes: pomegranate seeds, lime wedges, sliced jalapeño, or mint sprigs

Instructions

  1. Rim the glasses: Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass, then dip into salt or sugar. Set aside.

  2. Mix the base: In a shaker or jar, combine pomegranate juice, lime juice, and sweetener. If using jalapeño, muddle gently for a spicy kick.

  3. Shake with ice: Add ice to the shaker, cover, and shake for 10–15 seconds until chilled.

  4. Strain & pour: Strain the mix into your prepared glass filled with fresh ice.

  5. Add sparkle: Top with sparkling water and stir gently.

  6. Garnish & serve: Drop in pomegranate seeds or garnish with lime or mint for a beautiful finish.

  7. Frozen version (optional): Blend pomegranate juice, lime juice, sweetener, and ice until smooth. Pour into a rimmed glass and garnish as desired.

Notes

  • For a spicy twist, add muddled jalapeño.

  • Prefer it sweeter? Add more agave or honey to taste.

  • Want it kid-friendly? Skip the garnish and keep it simple.

  • To batch: Mix the base ahead of time and chill; add sparkling water when serving.
