Ingredients
-
1 cup frozen mango chunks (or fresh, cubed and frozen for at least 2 hours)
-
½ cup 100 % orange juice
-
2 Tbsp fresh lime juice (about 1 large lime)
-
1–2 tsp agave syrup or honey (optional, adjust to taste)
-
1 – 1½ cups ice cubes
-
Salt, coarse sugar, or Tajín (for rimming)
-
Lime wheel or mango wedge (garnish)
Instructions
-
Rim the glass – Run a lime wedge around the rim, then dip into salt, sugar, or Tajín.
-
Blend – Add mango, orange juice, lime juice, ice, and sweetener to a blender. Blend until smooth and slushy.
-
Adjust – If too thick, blend in a splash more juice; if too tart, add a dash more sweetener.
-
Serve – Pour into the prepared glass. Garnish with a lime wheel or mango wedge and enjoy immediately.
Notes
-
Make it spicy: Blend in a pinch of chili powder or garnish with extra Tajín for a fiery kick.
-
Creamy twist: Add 2 Tbsp coconut milk for a velvety, piña-colada vibe.
-
Big-batch tip: Scale the recipe up and blend in batches; keep the pitcher in the freezer so it stays slushy.
-
Leftovers: Freeze in ice-cube trays; drop cubes into sparkling water or future smoothies for instant tropical flavor.
