Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp fresh turmeric root, peeled and grated

  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger root, peeled and grated

  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp raw honey (optional)

  • Pinch of black pepper

  • 1/4 cup water or coconut water


Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the turmeric and ginger, then roughly chop them.

  2. Add turmeric, ginger, lemon juice, honey (if using), black pepper, and water to a small blender.

  3. Blend until smooth.

  4. Optional: Strain through a fine mesh sieve for a smoother shot.
