Ingredients

- 2 inches of fresh ginger (or 1 tsp ginger powder)
- 2 inches of fresh turmeric (or 1 tsp turmeric powder)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- A pinch of black pepper
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
- ¼ cup water or coconut water
Instructions
- Peel the ginger and turmeric, then cut them into small pieces.
- Juice them together, adding lemon juice and black pepper. Stir well and enjoy immediately or store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Notes
For extra flavor, add cayenne pepper or mix with orange juice for a sweeter shot. Store in an airtight glass bottle in the fridge for up to a week.
