Glass of Sunrise Juice with orange slice and mint garnish on a sunny morning table

Sunrise Juice Recipe

Start your day with a burst of brightness! This refreshing Sunrise Juice blends vibrant fruits and vegetables like carrots, apples, oranges, and a touch of ginger for a naturally sweet, energizing drink. Packed with vitamins and antioxidants, it’s a cheerful way to fuel your morning without caffeine.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large carrots, peeled

  • 1 sweet apple (Honeycrisp or Gala), cored

  • 1 orange, peeled

  • ½ lemon, unpeeled (optional: peel for milder taste)

  • ½ pear, sliced

  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger (optional, peeled for spice)

Instructions

  1. Wash all produce thoroughly under cool water.

  2. Peel the orange and ginger. Core the apple and pear.

  3. Juice the carrots first, then apple, followed by the remaining ingredients.

  4. Mix everything well to evenly blend flavors.

  5. Taste and adjust: add more ginger for spice or more pear for sweetness.

  6. Serve chilled or over ice. Enjoy fresh or refrigerate for up to 24 hours.

Notes

  • For a thinner texture, strain through a nut milk bag or sieve.

  • For more zest, leave the lemon peel on.

  • Store juice in airtight containers to reduce oxidation.

  • Freeze leftovers in ice cube trays for smoothies or mocktails later.

  • Kid-friendly tip: tone down ginger and add more apple or pear.
