  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Ingredients

Scale
    • 23 ripe strawberries (plus extra for garnish)

    • 2 oz vodka (regular or strawberry vodka for extra berry flavor)

    • ½ oz fresh lime juice (about half a lime)

    • 4 oz ginger beer (spicy and well-chilled)

    • Ice cubes

    • Mint sprig (for garnish)

    • Sliced strawberries (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Muddle: Place sliced strawberries in the bottom of your copper mug or glass. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently mash until juicy.
  2. Add Vodka & Lime: Pour in the vodka and squeeze in the fresh lime juice. Stir to blend.
  3. Fill with Ice: Add ice cubes to the top.
  4. Top with Ginger Beer: Slowly pour ginger beer over the ice to keep it fizzy.
  5. Stir & Garnish: Gently stir, then garnish with a mint sprig and extra strawberry slices.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, simply skip the vodka or swap with sparkling water.
  • Make it your own: Use raspberries or blackberries, or add a splash of orange liqueur for a twist.
  • Best served ice-cold in a copper mug for ultimate refreshment.
  • Set up a DIY mule bar with various fruits, fresh herbs, and flavored ginger beers for parties.
  • If your strawberries aren’t very sweet, add ½–1 tsp simple syrup.
