Ingredients

  • 45 fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

  • 5 fresh mint leaves, gently torn

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

  • 12 teaspoons sweetener (sugar, honey, or agave – optional)

  • ½ cup sparkling water or club soda

  • Ice cubes

  • Optional garnish: sliced strawberry, mint sprig, lime wedge

Instructions

  1. Muddle the Base: In a tall glass, add strawberries, mint, and sweetener. Gently muddle to release flavors.

  2. Add Lime Juice: Stir in the lime juice for a bright citrus kick.

  3. Add Ice and Soda: Fill the glass with ice. Pour in the sparkling water or soda water and stir gently.

  4. Garnish and Serve: Top with fresh garnishes and serve immediately with a straw.

Notes

  • To make ahead: Mix strawberries, mint, lime, and sweetener and refrigerate up to 24 hours. Add soda when serving.

  • Frozen strawberries can double as flavorful ice cubes.

  • Swap mint for basil for a savory twist.
