Homemade Orange Vinaigrette

A light and refreshing orange vinaigrette made with fresh orange juice and balsamic vinegar, perfect for salads and marinades.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Juice the orange using a juicer for fresh orange juice.
  2. Combine orange juice, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and black pepper in a bowl or jar.
  3. Whisk or shake the jar until well combined.
  4. Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking to help emulsify the vinaigrette.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity as needed.
  6. Pour into a jar and refrigerate, shaking before each use.

Notes

Let the vinaigrette sit for 10 minutes before using for deeper flavor. Shake or whisk before serving if it separates.
