  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe mangoes
  • 1 cup water (or coconut water/orange juice for variation)
  • Optional: honey or sugar to taste
  • Optional: juice of 1 lime
  • Optional: 1-inch piece of fresh ginger for a tangy twist
  • Optional: 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks for tropical blend
  • Optional: 1 cup plain yogurt (or almond milk) for smoothie variation

Instructions

  1. Choose ripe mangoes, wash and peel them, then slice around the seed to obtain the flesh.
  2. Add the mango flesh to a blender along with the water (or your chosen liquid).
  3. Optional: Strain the blended mixture through a fine sieve for a smoother texture.
  4. Optional: If desired, add honey or sugar and lime juice to taste, and blend again.
  5. Pour the juice into a glass, add ice, and enjoy!

Notes

Use ripe mangoes for the best flavor. Avoid overripe or unripe fruit. Frozen mango chunks can be used as a time-saving alternative. Serve fresh for the best taste.
