Ingredients
-
-
1 ripe banana
-
10 fresh or frozen strawberries
-
1 tablespoon agave syrup or honey (or Truvia for fewer calories)
-
1–2 cups ice
-
(Optional) Splash of water or coconut milk if needed for blending
-
Instructions
-
Peel and break the banana into chunks. Add to blender.
-
Add strawberries, sweetener, and 1 cup ice.
-
Blend on low, then high, until completely smooth and creamy.
-
Check consistency. If too thick, add a splash of water or coconut milk; if too thin, add more ice or frozen strawberries.
-
Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
-
Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately!
Notes
-
For a thicker smoothie, use all frozen fruit.
-
Turn leftovers into popsicles for a cool snack.
-
For extra nutrition, add a scoop of protein powder or a handful of spinach (it won’t affect the flavor).
-
Adjust sweetness to taste based on your fruit ripeness.
-
Want a fun twist? Try a dollop of yogurt or a sprinkle of granola on top for a smoothie bowl vibe.
