2-inch knob fresh ginger

1 tsp turmeric powder or 1-inch fresh turmeric root

Juice of 1 lemon

1 tsp raw honey

Instructions
For the Wellness Shot:

Peel the ginger and turmeric (if using fresh).

Juice the lemon and set aside.

Add ginger, turmeric, lemon juice, honey, black pepper, and water to a blender.

Blend until smooth.

Strain through a fine mesh sieve into a small glass or jar.

Drink immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
For the Wellness Tea:

Boil water in a small pot.

Add grated ginger, turmeric (root or powder), and lemon juice.

Simmer for 5–7 minutes.

Strain into a mug and stir in honey to taste.

Sip warm and enjoy.

Add a splash of orange juice or extra water if the shot is too spicy.

Refrigerate leftovers and shake before drinking.
