Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp raw honey

  • 1 tbsp warm water (to thin the honey)

  • Juice of 1 lemon or lime

  • ½ cup sparkling water

  • A few fresh mint leaves

  • Crushed ice

  • Optional: Ginger slices, cucumber, or berries for flavor variations


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl or cup, mix honey with warm water to create a simple honey syrup.

  2. Juice your lemon or lime and set aside.

  3. If using additional flavorings like berries, cucumber, or ginger, gently muddle them with the mint leaves in a shaker or mason jar.

  4. Add the honey syrup, citrus juice, and a handful of ice to the shaker or jar. Shake or stir well.

  5. Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with crushed ice.

  6. Top with sparkling water and stir gently.

  7. Garnish with a mint sprig, citrus slice, or edible flower. Serve immediately.
