Ingredients
-
1 tsp loose‑leaf Grey Lady Tea (or 1 tea bag)
-
8 oz (240 ml) water at ~200 °F (93 °C)
-
Optional add‑ins: honey, milk, ice
Instructions
-
Heat fresh water to about 200 °F (93 °C).
-
Place tea leaves or bag in your cup or infuser.
-
Pour in water and steep for 3–5 minutes.
-
Remove the leaves or bag.
-
(Optional) Stir in honey or add a splash of milk.
-
For iced tea: brew double‑strength, cool, and pour over ice.
Notes
-
Grey Lady Tea is lighter than traditional Earl Grey, thanks to citrus and floral additions.
-
It pairs wonderfully with lemon cake, shortbread, or dark chocolate.
-
For best flavor, use loose-leaf tea and filtered water.
-
To make a tea latte, steep tea strong and top with steamed milk.
