Green Juice Cleanse

Ingredients

  • 1 green apple, cored

  • 1 cucumber, chopped

  • 2 celery stalks, chopped

  • 1 handful fresh kale or spinach

  • ½ lemon, peeled

  • Optional: 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled

Instructions

  1. Wash all ingredients thoroughly.

  2. Peel the lemon and core the apple.

  3. Chop everything into chunks for easier blending or juicing.

  4. Juice each ingredient individually, or blend with ¼ cup water.

  5. If using a blender, strain the mixture with a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag.

  6. Stir the juice, chill, and serve immediately. Store any leftovers for up to 24 hours.

Notes

  • For less bitterness, use more apple or add orange juice.

  • Use organic produce for best results.

  • Freeze leftovers in ice cube trays for smoothies or popsicles.

  • Drink on an empty stomach to enhance absorption.
