Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger root, grated

  • 1 tbsp fresh turmeric root (or 1 tsp turmeric powder)

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Pinch of black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp honey (optional)

  • 1/4 cup filtered water or coconut water


Instructions

  1. Peel and grate the ginger and turmeric. Squeeze the lemon.

  2. Add all ingredients (ginger, turmeric, lemon juice, black pepper, honey, and water) to a blender.

  3. Blend for 20–30 seconds until smooth.

  4. Strain using a mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a glass.

  5. Pour into a shot glass. Serve immediately or refrigerate for later.

Notes

  • Add more honey or water if the flavor is too spicy.

  • Use ground turmeric if fresh isn’t available—just don’t skip the black pepper.
