Ginger and Lemon Water

A refreshing drink packed with health benefits, perfect for boosting immunity and aiding digestion.

Ingredients

  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced or grated
  • 1/2 lemon, freshly squeezed
  • 2 cups of water
  • Optional: Honey, mint, turmeric, or cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Hot Version: Boil 2 cups of water in a pot.
  2. Add the sliced or grated ginger and let it simmer for 5–10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, then squeeze in the lemon juice.
  4. Strain and pour into a cup.
  5. Add honey or other optional ingredients for extra flavor.
  1. Cold Version: Slice fresh ginger and add it to a pitcher of water.
  2. Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon.
  3. Let it infuse in the refrigerator for at least 2–4 hours (overnight is best).
  4. Serve over ice for a refreshing summer drink!

Notes

Best consumed immediately but can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Ideal to drink in the morning or before meals for digestion support.
