- 2 black tea bags (or 1 tbsp loose-leaf black tea)
- 1 cup milk (whole, oat, almond, or any preferred type)
- ½ cup water
- 2 tbsp honey or sugar (adjust for sweetness)
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp cardamom
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ¼ tsp cloves
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Boil the water in a small pot and steep the tea bags for about 5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine the spices and stir well.
- Heat the milk over medium heat and add the spice mix.
- Remove the tea bags and pour the brewed tea into the spiced milk.
- Add honey or sugar and stir until dissolved, then serve.
