Ingredients
-
3 oz (≈ ⅓ cup) 100 % cranberry juice or light cranberry cocktail
-
1 oz (2 Tbsp) freshly squeezed lemon juice (about ½ lemon)
-
1 Tbsp honey or simple syrup – adjust to taste
-
3 oz sparkling water or club soda
-
Ice cubes, as needed
-
Garnish: 1 lemon wheel, a few fresh cranberries, and/or mint sprig
Instructions
-
Fill a tall glass with ice to keep everything frosty.
-
Pour in the cranberry juice and fresh lemon juice.
-
Stir in the honey (or syrup) until completely dissolved.
-
Top with sparkling water, leaving room for the fizz.
-
Give one gentle stir to combine without flattening the bubbles.
-
Garnish with a lemon wheel, cranberries, or mint. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
-
Adjust sweetness: Taste after Step 3; add more honey for a softer bite or extra lemon juice for extra zing.
-
Batch prep: Mix cranberry, lemon, and sweetener up to 2 days ahead; keep chilled. Add sparkling water just before serving so the drink stays lively.
-
Flavor twist: Muddle 2–3 fresh mint leaves in the glass before adding liquids, or swap half the cranberry juice for orange juice for a citrusy spin.
-
Leftovers: Freeze any extra base in ice-pop molds for quick, antioxidant-rich popsicles.
